Al-Munfarid Bi-Dhatihi

The book of Al-Munfarid Bi-Dhatihi is mentioned twice in the present Books of al-Hikmeh, in Epistle 17 (Risalat al-Tanzih ila Jam’at al-Muwahhidinm written by Hamza bin Ali bin Ahmad) dated the sixth month of 410/1019.

Rasa’il al-Hind

There are eight letters from al-Muqtana Baha’al-Din to Jata bin Sumer Rajapal, head of the mission in Sind, sent between 424/1033 and 430/1039. The fourth of the letters, written in 425 A.H., is the same as Epislte 61 in the Books al-Hikmeh, of the same year. There are also four letters from the Indian prince to al-Muqtana Baha’al-Din. The volume contains an Epistle, dated 400 A.H., in which Hakim Bi Amr Allah rebukes the accusers of his friends who had given up the outward form of religious observance for the worship of the heart.

Al-Shari’a al-Ruhaniyya fi ‘ilm al-Latif wa’l Bassit wa’l Kathif

Al-Shari’a al-Ruhaniyya fi ‘ilm al-Latif wa’l Bassit wa’l Kathif is referred to in the Books of al-Hikmeh, Epislte 15, not dated, but is one of the earliest of Hamza bin Ali bin Ahmad’s writings. Among its contends is the "Epistle of the soul" attributed to Hermes.
